Just make sure your throttle is set to the failsafe position when you do the final bind after setup.

Put some airline over the antennas (main & remote) and make sure it's up and over the plastic lip at the case, assuming it's a AR9000. Takes all the worry out of handling the Rx and keeps the antennas straight.

Barry

Joey (JT's Hobby) will have some module sets for sale at the Southwest. As Thud Driver suggested do the tubing mod on the antennas. We have been using 3MM fuel tubing.

I've got gobs and gobs of flights, well over a hundred on the 10x conversion to 2.4. It is simply fantastic!

Would someone show a pic of the antenna mod being talked about. I just got my 9303 2.4 yesterday. Thanks, Jim

GUYS.
go to the DX7 read file. You will find a zillion lessons learned on the receiver. plenty of pics. The system rocks when and only when it is set up right.

it is more sensitive to low voltage below 4. make sure you have very robust power delivery with big servos, so the voltage doesn't drop.

The rx can handle 30 amps and 9 volts. make sure you make the mod to the ar9000 though. see website. I dont recommend putting aerial over the antennas. just put a dab of silicone on the case where they come out. The aerial tubing adds stress to the antenna mount. see my pics in dxy or go to aerobob's website. RCaerobats.com.

If done right, you will love it.

by the way, sweet nice install, like the elevated receiver. gets it above the ECU. very nice. long leads too. you will probably be able to fly that a mile away.
