Ok here it is I have access to molds of this model, it is not yet considered to be a kit but wow the size and majestic appearance of this aircraft is perfect. On wednesday I will inspect the molds and if all goes well I will post some picks later. This aircraft has been designed for ducted fan but im sure with Tams help a turbine conversion could be possible. Is anyone interested in such a project and do you feel there is a market for this aircraft.

That would be one hell of a bifurcated pipe!

I wonder how the stability is.........

I don't think 2 engines are a good idea for that plane..

I may be wrong, when one quits whats to stop the
plane from extreme yawing. ?

I would just put one large turbine down low
and let the exhaust exit on the center line
on the bottom of the plane..

Default Ivan's B-2

Did Ivan ever get that thing in the air? I saw him try to fly it at the Arizona Jet Rally several years ago. It lumbered the whole length of the runway, hit a bump at the end, bounced into the air, then came down and ground looped.

He was using two Turbax fans, which surprised me. The airplane was so big I expected him to be using Dynamaxes or Ramtecs.

Flanker,
It may have just been an expensive go-kart and never got off the ground. Don't know what happened after AZ jets. You'll have to ask him.

Default Help with the yaw

Hey guys any suggestions about yaw issues on this aircraft? I was thinking of using a heli gyro to prevent yaw, has anyone seen or posted video of a flying rc ducted fan or turbine B-2? I was thinking of using a Zenoah G-62 rear mounted for the test plane If I can keep the weight down and the eventual turbine version for the finished product. Eddie Weeks suggested a single turbine mounted down low on the center line this will be an option as well. Any info. or research would be helpful. An electric version is also being considered with approximately six brushless motors producing 24lbs of thrust. When I get close to the flight stage I'll post more pics

Default B2

Man don't even think about making a big gas powered ZAGI out of that B2!!! It would be a crime! If you are worried about stability we can make a up some small EDF versions and test them first.
