Default Painting Thread

Does anyone have a thread on painting a jet model? Getting ready to paint my first jet and dont want to mess up.. Any help would be great.. I would prefer a thread from final sanding to primer and then painting..

This thread is from quite a few years ago, my techniques, equipment, and skill has changed in the past years, but the fundamentals are all pretty well the same, it will give you a good starting point though.
Thanks for the Kudo's above Sean!

Here is another thread with a bunch of questions I answered, again, it's from a few years back, experience may have changed my mind on a couple things, but this is a good starting point

I just picked up the Jet Power "Rookie Special" magazine at a local Barnes and Noble book store. It's more like a "Getting Started in Jets" book than a magazine and they have a sixteen page article on painting a jet. Starts on setting up your gun, spraying techniques, paints, masking and then painting.
