Default Will This Dog Hunt?

Hey guys,

Someone in another forum mentioned that dogs and modeling don't go together so I thought I would give it a try. Any suggestions or comments?

Hey Pat ask your dog if he wants to sell his turbine. Maybe a week at the spa. Mike

LuckyB,

Nope he don't want to sell but I think for a few biscuts he would do a trade.

Default Dog

Hope the dog does not leave any gas or the after burner will kick in. You know that after burners are not allowed in AMA events, Cute pic. Keep up the good work Ed R Gray TN

Pat,
I saw your dog at Fl Jets and from what I remember he is REALLY skinny! Are you sure that setup is within the AMA .9-1 thrust to weight rule?????

Thanks for the pic, that is funny!

Kevin E and RCNUT,

Actually the great benifit of this set up is that after Copper has a burito or can of Alpo (about the same thing) The excess gas (imagination here please) is applied to the overall fuel delivery and is seemlessly consumed in the thrust production process!

Kevin W,

As skinny as he is I have worked closely within the ratio for alowable thrust and assure all that he is within allowable tolorances.

I am currently working on a varible sweep set of wings and retractable langing gear.

I am also looking for a name for this new. . . ."model"\

Any ideas?

Do ya have a turbine conversion available for my Pitbull? Then again Chazen would probably remain tail heavy & would be very difficult to obtain proper CG ,since hes spoiled & wont eat dogfood. He thrives on steak, burritos, chinese food & his fav.-fried chicken ,biscuits & mashed potatoes from popeyes chicken LOL
I think I have the most spoiled dog there ever was,my gf just laughs ..hes a trip-he loves to sit up on the couch & watch the discovery wings channel ...I wonder if I can make a new cockpit for my YA Twin F18 & he can then take to the skies and pursue his dream

Hmmm

now just outta curiousity & unrelated to this thread..Just last week my total post count was 230 and now I am down to 189.What would have caused that? I noticed a couple other guys on here have their counts lower as well from last week..No big deal, just thought that was rather strange

Well - I've seen some horrible models in my time - but that one really is a dog - it really takes the biscuit.

Once the turbine is running, do you do a lot of hot-dogging ?

Wonder if that would be legal in the greyhound races ?

Gordon

P.S for Steve - look in "the clubhouse". http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...744&forumid=59]

With the price of a turbine, someone has to go hungry.

Default Seen this before, wellsorta...

When I was a kid you could get the same effect by putting turpentine on a cat's rear end. Actually I hear that that is where the motivation for the 30# turbine came from, they make a similar sound.

Well I gues the jig is up, Gordon hit the nail on the head, the turbine(ated) dog in the picture is a hybrid that I am working on to corner the greyhound racing venues here in south Florida. I have seen nothing in the rule books to stop us so we expect to make a mint.
And yes I do have conversion kits for your pit bull or Yorky or whatever else you may have. Also available are the original propulsion units, (Big gas burners) (no pun intended) but in some cases prop clearence will be an issue.
