On the manual start ECU I got with my Wren kit, it has 2 red wires, a green wire and a black wire.
labeled on the ECU is the following
RED/BLACK = Battery
GREEN/RED = Pump
Question, there are two identical Red wires that are not labeled; so which one goes to the battery and which one goes to the pump?

Dan:
You may want to PM "Gaspar" or Sara from Wren for this, but as far as I know (I have a FADEC unit), if you have the small shrink wraped ECU, all RED cables are positives and the same. If you have a different version you should have a plug wiring diagram, if possible post a picture of the ECU...

Here it is.
The reason I'm asking is because I don't want to hook up the battery to the pump output, that could damage the unit I suppose.

You are absolubtely right about reverse polarity consequences, even though I can almost guarantee both are the same, I have no experience with that particular unit, an option would be to do a cointinuity check across both red wires, or try to see if you confirm both cables are soldered to the same end on the circuit board. WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! I'check on the FADEC forum...
Just BE SURE your's is a NADES unit, here is your asnwer.....http://www.xicoy.com/foros/index.php?topic=223.0
Glad to Help!!!

hello
on the top you have a small diagram that tell you wich colors need to be used for.
i think you already got them
RED/BLACK = Battery
GREEN/RED = Pump
the red are the same, is not important wich red goes where...but is important the other color, green or black.
