MULTIPLEX 12 EVO
#2
Jose,
I use the Multiplex EVO 12 on my jet models. There are quite a few guys here in the US that do. It is a very flexable radio system that can be custumized to fit your needs. All controls, switches, and knobs are programable and there are 12 fully proportional and adjustable channels. Range is never an issue either. I use the synthisized module and receiver system with much success. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Likewise, I have used Multiplex for over 20 years now. Never had a problem. I have flown jets now for about 10 years with Multiplex. Solid as a rock, great value for money, extremely flexible and powerful software.
I love it.

John

I'm using the Royal EVO 12 in my Skymaster Gripen, I've never had any problem even with synth module and 12ch synth receiver.
I choose Multiplex because is the only one with channel check included, so when the Radio receive the same frequency the Transmitter won't start signal: It's a unique feature, and is very useful in case of crowdy clubs, nobody can blame you if a model falls down!!
Another feature I like is that transmitter has 6 cells battery, so lighter than many radios, and is very simple to use and program.
I think is a very good value for the price you get it!
Just check to have the latest 1.40 software installed in the radio..

My Feedback: (24)
Got one also - once I got past the Asian radio programming block, I was fine with it and found it to be sound. Just hope it stays in the US market longer.
Notice that the Hitec Fusion receivers are Multiplex re-brands? Not bad, given the price of the 9 channel synthesized version - $99.
By the way, you can download a free "tutorial manual" that encompases an entire 1 inch 3 ring binder if printed. It's of limited use but may help. It's free after market "how to".
Surprised to see several people chiming in on the use of this animal - thought I was the lone duck out.
Good luck

Since one of the Asian brands let me down big time in 2000, I have flown ONLY Multiplex. I would no longer trust a jet to anything else, from my experience. As John said, on 72 MHz, in my experience, you will not find any radio with better range. The IPD receiver technology has been completely bullet proof for me ALWAYS.
Quite simply, they are the best of the best. But I am clearly biased! [8D]

I have been using multiplex since 1986 in all types of models. I have it in planes, heli's, boats and cars. Using it with glow, petrol, electric and turbine engines.
Multiplex have had total flexibility (which is only lately available on Futaba and JR) since the first Profi 3000 in the early 90's.
You will not be sorry, it's a great system.
