vega406  are there any manual that I can down load and read? ... are they available as a kit because half of the enjoyment is building up the model then using them?

There is no manual, but there is a building instruction photo series if you go to the FEJ web site. Look under instructions. This is a really nice kit and goes together nicely. THey didn't skimp anywhere and they are great to deal with.

Lowell Do you have to use counter rotating,, jets sorry about these questions.... I'm new to the aircraft and I'm still way off flying one of these fantastic aircraft.... but no harm in working toward one and flying one..

No problem Scott. The turbines do not turn counter clockwise on one. They are standard, but I did send them to Bob at Jet Cat to have them "tuned" to each other. This is all you need to do. The rest is pretty strait forward.
Always willing to help!

I think that it is that from every company out there one has yet to be made that you can just go out and fly, swing the wing and just have it as a good flying plane, User friendly. Maybe SM will get it together

Seeing the finalized production model with some "weight" to it will be interesting. That is one big tomcat to be flying with a pair of K-80's, and at the speeds it was taking off and landing at, it had to be extremely light. I am impressed and can't wait to see it progress some more.

Hello fellow f14 fans,

Think i must give Santa a call....

The proto type with 2 k80 was 17kg's.

We like to know how complex you want SM to produce f14?

We can produce a all day all weather f14 with single turbine and elevons only far below 20kg. Will be great model....but will it sattisfy those crazy f14 fans like myself...

Or we can produce a twin turbine with all the options that will probably be more than 20kg total weight....

Please feel free to discuss here your ideas.

Unfortunately both versions will be too costly to produce.

Regards

Morne

My preference would be for the light weight version. My reasons are what's the point of having a model that look fantastic with all the detail and whistles and bells but is a nightmare to fly?? []
It also gives the customers more choice with engine options.

That’s my 0.02c worth

Cheers,
Paul
