Well, I don't know anything about the guy selling it, but I can see his reasons and I don't think it will go for a lot. A friend has one. They seem to be good engines, but service is a real question mark. Even if I had $800 or so to spare, I wouldn't bid on it...

A bit strange. I am in the process of buying 2 back from a guy in the states.

I know andre from BMT. I will find out about this guy. I got a mail from a chap today telling me about this. I asked for one of these turbines about 4+ weeks ago here on RCU.

Ebay in my opinion is Fishy even if it was my own mother i would not buy over Ebay.

I have friends with these turbines and they can't get parts for them... They are unusable now!!!!

Never had one problem out of mine.

If I remember right, they need an ecu and injectors... They've been trying for over a year to get parts... They have 2

This ad on the surface seems Ok, but you know the old saying about if it walks like a duck etc.. I am not bashing BMT because I own one and LOVE it. I just think this is a bogus ad. He claims to have only bench run it a couple times yet also claims it has over two hours run time on it. That is a whole lot of bench run time IMO. I asked him for the serial number but no reply yet.

This turbine was posted on Rcuniverse to sale a few weeks back. I call the guy and told him to send the turbine C.O.D and he agreed. Well when we were about to trade info. his cell phone went dead and wh would not anwer anymore. I then went back to send a e-mail but the engine were listed as sold. So i waited and got him back on the phone, he stated that the turbine is still for sale but he wanted me to send the money and i request a paypal account, the phone went dead. This guy is pulling a scam with the same photo's but from another location.

I think his name was Frank (817-247-2589).

NICE! I knew my spidey senses couldn't be far off. I hope the poor fellow who bid $800 on it already doesn't lose his money.

That's a Fort Worth ph number, and I don't know of anybody in the area by that name flying a BMT, or jets at all.

The only guy around that flies one is Elvis B. JT would probably knwo if there are other BMT's in town, but I highly doubt it.

The eBay ad is listed in West Palm Beach. If its the same seller phone number then this is a scam for sure.
