Is my fuel ok in the COLD garage??
I live in northern California, and was wondering if its ok to leave my fuel jug full of kero in my cold garage?? Come on East coast guys

I've kept fuel in the unheated garage for the last two winters...no problems with temps as low as 30 below. It is a good idea not to keep the jug on bare concrete though..put it on a piece of wood or styrofoam......

heh heh... yeah, but it is a dry cold
Actually that is a worse case...it might hit that as an overnight low two or three times during the winter...

I dunno...that was the information passed on to me by people with far more experience, however it does make sense to keep plastic containers off concrete which acts like a huge cold sink (much colder than the air temp..).....
