Default Byron Fan Prop Adaptor

I am working on a Byron F-16 (my first jet) I have the starting wand with the hex ball end. I need the prop adaptor that will work with this. Is it something that is common for all ducted fans or is Byron different? Please point me in the right direction to purchase what I need. I am getting close to the first engine run!

Byron is different.
They use a long wand with a one way bearing and a 3/8" square drive with the proper sized socket to fit your propnut.
It's not uncommon to tear up a few exhaust pipes before you get used to using it....

Steve,
On mine, I tok a different approach. I put a small screw-on Dubro spinner nut on teh rotor, and instead of eh hex driver (I cut it off) used a regular starter cup from an old electric starter. Never striped a bolt, nor spun one off with that method.
Good Luck!

Steve, go through your rachet set and find the adapter that fits over the nut then try and attach it to the end of the hex wand. I did this, works great. I only had to hammer the adapter to the wand. I'll take a pic for you. I use this for my Byro Enforcer. Johnny A is right, you can mess up the exhaust if your not careful. After the engine starts I release the power on the starter and slowly pull out.

Ok, just took the pics with my camera phone so the res is not that great. Go to your local hobby shop and pic up a heli starter wand. That's what I use. What ever you do make sure you don't purchase one through BPMJets. Bob is a crook. Took me 2 months to get my money back. Here are the pics. Hope this helps!

what keeps the prop nut from spinning off? Seems like it would come off the first time the engine kicked back.
