Default Eurosport smoke tank install.

I'm looking at a smoke tank install, where is your's located, capacity, etc., any Pics? I have the full bypass system so it needs to fit around that and still have access for maintenance.

TIA, Rob.

In the rear hatch where the spars go in, you can span two bulkheads with 16 ounce nalgene tanks and silicone them in. Been there done that about 3 years ago. Wish I had a pic, but you can open it up and look in there and see what I'm talking about.

Thanks chaps, trial fitting the bypass I have also found a 16oz dubro will just sit each side between the molded intake centreline flange and the kevlar fuel tank, should give me enough capacity. I'll also tried the engine bay where you suggest, this should help balance out the forward cg position of full tanks.

The external centreline option is also appealing though.....decisions.....where can I get a centreline tank and how did you attach/plumb it in?

Rob
I´ve two DuBro tanks + Tam´s pump mounted in the engine bay. Each tank mounted "on top" of engine bearer. Inbetween eng. bypass and fuselage topskin. Fwd tip of tanks protrouding through litening whole in fwd engine bulkhead. Tanks secured by fwd tank tip position and velcro.
Sorry no pics.
Regards
Thomas

Thanks Thomas, that may prove to be the preferred method as access is good for maintenance and it balances out the cg nicely.

centerline tank came from Dreamworks, built by jet tech.made plywood mount that atatches to front of bulkhead and bottom of intake. It has two brass nipples at attatch points so it can be removed.

I added two 32 oz nalgene bottles. One for smkoe oil, another for more jet A. The Jet A one is in the centerline between the original euro tanks, just below the speed brake. The smoke one is to one side, jusr after the valves, etc plate.
