Default Michigan Jets 2008

Michigan Jets would like to thank all the pilots that have made our event succesful. We know when you participate in our event you take time off of work, spend money for hotels, gas and food. You are risking your plane so we can have an event. Without you we could not raise a penny.
We have raised about $80000 since we started having the event. Thank you for making some sick kids happy. The parents tell us each year how they appreciate the pilots.
We have changed the date due to improvements at the airport.
This year we will have the event [August 8,9 and 10th,2008. This year the event is for you. We want to make this an appreciation event. There will be no LANDING FEE and we are working on a dinner also.
So please come and have a good time.

More details to come.

Happy Holidays
Michigan Jets Crew

I am also pleased to announce that George Thomas will be co-CD.

Burt that is great to here, And to have no landing fee....Wow! I really missed this event last year and look forward to come up next august. The runway is one of the best a pilot will ever land on and the flight line crew is second to none. Mark this one on your calender guys..........

Burt, Had alot of fun at Michigan Jets 2006. I was really disapointed when you guys had to cancel the event in 2007[][ Had my wife take her vacation time so I could go
Will have her put in for it this year too This is one event I don't want to miss
The flying site was great and the flight line was one of the best run that I've seen in all the events that I have attended not to mention all the great people at the event.
Burt if Guy shows up I'm not going to let him use my Peggy to trim his fingernails [&:]
I talked to some of the local Jet guys to get them to come to your event this year, looks like I'll have some company.
Look forward to seeing you and your wife. Will bring the T-33

Burt, that's great news. Are you all going to try to get the same deal at the [link=http://www.michiganjets.com/Directions.html]Best Western - Downriver[/link]?

I am really pleased with telling you the following. The Best Western will honor the old charges for the rooms. You have to call them direct and mention Michigan Jets.
The sponsors are joining in for the Pilot Appreciation event. RC JET MODELS and AMT TURBINES are sponsoring the Saturday night dinner. Ribs and Chicken +++
The Saturday night pizza dinner is sponsored by JET CAT TURBINES , TAM JETS AND JET CENTRAL TURBINES.

Please let me know or George Thomas if you have any special needs we can help with.

Regards,
Burt Eisenberg

The flying time on the front flyer is for the public. We will have open flying as long as it is safe.
Remember to support our sponsors. We could not do this without them.

Burt

Hi Burt,

I heard that you have a very good event, so I will try to make it this year with couple more friends.

This will be if I can find somebody to fill in for me, due to 24 hour service company.

Nick The Greek.

Peter look at the interactive roads on the map from the tunnel. I-75 is under a lot of construction. Some of the construction will be finished next week. Click on any barrel and it will give you the current update. Parts of the road may require you to drive on the service drive. 75 is a major highway so you should see directions to get around. I will check the beginning of the week for a more current update.
You can click on the map and grab and move it.
Sorry for the inconvience but we just made the yellow barrel the state bird.
