Ben, how is this thread any different from Johnny looking for a mirage?

Your thread is looking for a sale.

In words that I can understand, why should this thread stand, and Johnny's not???

I have many posts on this site saying "Where can I go to buy (whatever)".

How are any of those threads any different from "Where can I go to buy a kit that is no longer in production".

Where is the common sense. The one guy in the midwest that has that kit, and reads the threads once a week, is not going to go over to the wanted ads. He just won't.

But he might see an updated thread.

Do I need to contact Hearst with the list of all the stuff I've compiled as to why this site doesn't work for the jet guys, who arguably have the most money to spend on product that they promote?

ghost,

when a rookie II was for sale on RCU I checked in with a Comp-ARF rep asking if a sale would be on the horizon and shipping cost.

prompt reply no sales planned, and a quotation was sent.

And yes I bought the Rookie II

Easy answer Sean: This one was started by a Moderator and Johnny's don't. I remember not too long I was asking for a composite-arf flash parts two times. First one the thread disappear with no explanation to me. Second time, I just decide to never mine and buy the parts new from C-arf whenever I can. This is common in others forums also not only here. But here is not frecuently. That's why I prefer to navigate here in RCU with my poor english than go bla,bla,bla.... in spanish in the PR forum page.

Ben, you can find the special here in RCU adds section. RTF with engine and radio sometimes. [sm=wink_smile.gif]
