3D JET, I want one like this
Has anybody seen on RCU videos losemann"s 3 D jet I think it's in Germany
I'd like to find out what kind of jet it is, and what kind of turbine looks like
it has trust vectoring, I think the guy's name that was flying it is joel nall,
it looks like a modified euro sport..........................john

Hi guys
thanks for the video Bob, that's the one and he does have trust vectoring now for the big question where can I find one

RE: 3D JET, I want one like this
Rolf's jet is a one-off that he designed and built. It was damaged some time ago by an engine fire, and I don't know if he rebuilt it.
He started off with a Eurosport with thrust vectoring (there's a video of that somewhere too), and he did some custom parts to get it lighter, but he wasn't happy with the thrust-to-weight ratio he could achieve with the modified Euro, so he designed his own airplane. He made use of quite exotic materials in the construction like carbon fiber and titanium. I believe he told me that the all-up weight was around 22 lbs, wet. It is powered by a 36 lb-thrust JetCat P-160, I believe...

bob,
you say that this is his own design, what's the difference between his,and the J-10
do you know how I can get in touchwith this guy and maybe get the plans for the jet.......................john

RE: 3D JET, I want one like this
John,
What I meant was that he designed his own model of the J-10. I do not know what data he used to develop the model. I also don't know how to get in touch with him, but I would be willing to bet that he is not going to share his design - I can assure you that's he's been asked many times and has thus far, refused. I'm sure that if he was going to do it, he would either make and sell a kit himself or sell the design to somebody else to do it. When I talked to him, he didn't seem interested in either option...

RE: 3D JET, I want one like this
Thanks Bob,
I understand what you mean, I don't have to have he's design I want an jet like that with thrust vectoring that can take off and land in that short distance
and also do those kind of maneuvers, I understand if he's in a plane weighs 22 pounds and you have a 36 pound thrust engine in their, he's is making the jet very light, thrust to ratio do you think the regular J-10 with you that, it's easy to modify the jet and make it stronger..................john

Yes this one is good to,mig 29, but it's still requires a long roll and take off, it doesn't slow down as good as the J-10 for landing..................john
