Default RTI 2800 SE "True craftsmanship"

Just received my new 2800 this weekend and I am very impressed with the craftsmanship of this engine. Starting from the perfectly polished starter and front cover to the very high polished billet aluminum case that is just perfect. The tail cone is a very nicely machined piece as well. Note the That all the bolts on the back are wired so that they cant come loose. Carlos says that the whole engine is this way inside and out.
I installed the engine in my phantom today and had a chance to run it . It has a very nice smooth start to it, No spitting or sputtering at all. And at 123000 rpms the power just awsome even threw the bifurcated pipe. This is definitely a true 28# plus engine....
Looking forward to getting this thing in the air and see how it pushes the f4 around.
Below are a few pics.

Heres a nice shot of the engine sitting perfectly in the bvm bypass.

I had the oportunity to see this engine running. It so amazing with its 30lbs thrust. Very well contructed and finished.
This engine was made to last forever.
Congratulations and have nice flights.

That doesn't sound good. Make sure you have the latest version of the pipe with the extra metal protecting the forward face of the "Y" intersection.

I think Ben wanted to say “THROUGH” and not threw. I’m assuming he wanted to say that the engine produced good thrust despite the fact that it went through a bifurcated pipe.

What you need is a reinforced gusset.

I watched the F4 fly at Pensacola Jet Met and vidio taped it. Here is the link. The F4 was a great looking jet. Were can I see the engine you have as I'm in the market?

Thanks for the video. You can check out the engine at rtiturbines.com. Or just call them and talk to Carlos he will tell you everything you want to know about the engine.
