Back to sticks again...with a KINGCAT
After been off the air for quite long time, finally I´M BACK
Now I'm a happy owner of a Kingcat which building process I enjoyed step by step, and I'm sure same will be with flying it.
It has a P-120 and all the stuffing is JR equipment..
Also has pressurerize smoke system....and works great.
One of the good things about this hobby is that is a nice way to make good quality friendships...somehow it makes all us not to work alone....but as a team...as buddies. In that order I want thanks my buddy Alex Dupuy for his support and quality time at the Jetlab. Also want to thanks Giuseppe which also was there helping to make more enjoyable the time at the Lab. And of course Andy, our own local German test pilot.
Regards,
Miguel
PS...Is good to be on the air again!

Yes, this is the right jet!
Someone send me a pm asking me about the smoke system I used.....works with air (80psi) ...not a pump.
I modified Tam's sprayers reducing the gap at the exit tip to 0.003" x 1" long, and a mix of diesel fuel with ATF (75-25%)...and considering to use 50-50%
Don´t hesitate to ask me again,
Later,
Miguel

Miguel,
Good to see you back in the air. I myself have taken a long break and just recently started flying again with a Velox.
Anyway, Glen came out to the field the other day with a completely overhauled King Cat with lights and all. Now this will make you want to repaint yours in Dominican colors

Alex,
When I first begin to play with this kind of system (about 3 years ago)...I made contact with a friend of mine who is an engineer at Pepsi Cola factory. The pep bottles break point is at 175 psi...and I'm only working at 80psi. BTW....in normal use fill with cola, the pressure is 30psi.
Regards,
MS
