Default Kangaroo pusher ???????

How's it going everybody??
I was looking at getting a Roo.
My question pertains to the pusher configuration.
what size engines have you guys used??
And can you find a pusher prop big enough ( 2 or 3 blade ) for a Moki 2.10??? and still allow for ground clearance??
any set up hints would be great.
TIA
George

Default Kangaroo pusher ???????

If you plane to put a Moki 2.10 it will come out very tail heavy.
I have my with a moki 1.35, 16x10 three blade & I need 1Lb. of weight on the nose.
I am putting an OS 1.60FX which is only 2oz heavier then the Moki 1.35 but much more power.

George,
I got the Master Airscrew 16x10 3blade from Tower hobbies at about $18.95.
With the Moki 1.35 setup, I got marginal performance.
Estimated speed is about 90MPH. I have 24 flight on it with this setup & need more speed now.

Has anyone tried runing a Byron fan rotor on a OS.91 without the shroud - you would be suprised how well it works.

ROO flies with OS 1.60FX /16x10 3bladepusher.
Outstanding thrust & takes off from grass in about 50-75feet.
Speeds about 130-140MPH. This is what I was looking for.
Had to throttle back to get use to extra power & speed.

Default YS 140

Hey Guys.

I'm very interested in a pusher roo. How do yall think a YS 140 would fly it??
Sounds like maybe the OS 160 is the biggest bang for the buck?
Is yours the 160 FI?

Thanks
Jeremy

You don't really need the 160FI, but I recomend a cline fuel pump with your engine.
