My new Skymaster F-16 1:8
Finally I received my first Jet on November 20, just 4 weeks after placing the order to Skymaster through Great Northern Models in Canada.
As Anton wrote to one of my posts on November 12, delivery time is 3 to 4 weeks on Camo scheme and it was delivered by the time I was waiting for.
The Camo scheme was mixed (I requested the SW Camo and received the AV Camo), but it is OK to me as the differences in Camo scheme are only the fin letters.[&:]
Once I finished checking the box, I assembled the model just for display it to my friends while I receive the Futaba servos from Tower Hobbies and other stuffs from Great Northern Models.
Unfortunately the cockpit interior, pilot and wing tip missiles are missing and until now, I have no answer from Great Northern Models when is Skymaster going to send me those parts.[]
The dual wall exhaust pipe was received with a welded spot broken and the canopy has very small dents.[&o]
I also wrote to GNM and until now, I have no answer if Skymaster is going to replace them.
On November 26 I received the order I placed to Tower Hobbies for the servos, and part of the order placed to GNM.
I am still waiting for the JetCat P-70 turbine, the jetcat smoke pump, the whip antenna, the air gauges, the additional ECU battery (3.600 mAh NiMH), FOD screen, etc., but I have no answer when am I going to receive thos parts.
Kit quality is very nice. Me and my friends were impressed with the model an we are just waiting for those missing parts to start assemblying.[8D]

RE: My new Skymaster F-16 1:8
Omar, thanks for your post.
I hope to fly it soon. It's just a mattter of time for Skymaster and GNM to send me the rest of the order.
Hope to see you soon at Barranquilla to help me finishing the model.
Dont forget to bring some wine and pedyalites
Regards
Guillermo
