If it shouldn't be snap rolled, Alan should take the 4 videos of Ali doing it numerous times off of his website. I snap mine quite a bit (again, not at warp speed) and I haven't noticed any additional wear and tear.
However, with something like that, I probably won't notice it until it is in 3 pieces.
Seriously though, Ali snaps both the Elan and XL in the Boomerang videos.
