Default What about a B747 at scale 1/16 ?

Here in Europe, we are actualy discussing with Norbert Rauch, about the eventuality to make moulds as Norbert is used to, for building B747-400 at scale 1/16 ( about 5 meters wingspan ) , as he does for other boeing, airbus, DC's ...
If you think that you could be interrested, let it know here.

You can also let it know on my web page at www.mes-avions-rc.net

Got one of Evergreen's early 747s sat on the pan outside the office at the moment - nice looking aeroplane but even shrunk down 16 times wouldn't fit in my car! Good luck with your project.

That is right that this is not an easy transportable scale, and also that this kind of plane is absolutely different to pilot compared to what is a fighter jet

But I can assure you that the pleasure to control such a kind of plane is great !

Let's have a look to this landing : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQ6LzrzSXYQ

I got also a FB rafale for high speed flight, but I think airliners are more what I like

After I will have delivred what I am building for some people, and before going for the B747, I will go to build an Awacs, first at scale 1/16, to test construction, and to have it at same scale as my A330, but after that, I will build it at scale 1/8, and then, I will be able to make flights with fighter jets, same scale about, and probably we will come back here to talk about
