Default FeiBao L-39 Question???

HI all!! I am in the process of purchasing a FeiBao L-39 and am wondering if this jet requires a gear door sequencer. Has anyone built one of these jets? I would appreciate any feedback on this jet. Thanks

Dean

It is still too new...

However, if you want to do it scale, the nose gears and the inner main doors close when the gear is down

Wayne is right to do the doors scale you would need to use a gear/door sequencer, something like the Jettronics sequencer would be my suggestion. You maybe able to get away with doors staying down with gear if not worried about the scale cycling, that said the inner main gear doors ground clearence would need to be checked carefully with mains struts fully compressed just to be sure. I will have a close look with this in mind and post findings within the next few days as we have some more L-39 s arriving from FB in our next shippment...

Or you can get the UP-2 valve to close the doors when gear is down with no need of sequencer. Check the link. http://www.up-1.com/uptwo.html

I've been looking at the UP2. Seems like the way to go. Is it a reliable valve?
