Some guys in the UK scratch built a large Buc a few years ago (twin Ramtec DF power), and it was featured in RCJI. As I recall, it didn't last very long:-( That is the only Buccaneer model that I am aware of.

Hi WerHop,

The Bucc refered to was made by dave Martin and Dave Smart a few years back. Flew well for a couple of seasons before being sold to an ex-Fleet Air Arm Bucc pilot who retired to run a pub and has the model hung up in the bar as a reminder! If you PM me, I'll send you Dave Martin's email address...he may still have plans/details of his model (of course, you'll have no shortage of scale reference with the 2 that Mike Beachy Head's flying at Thunder city...along with his Lightnings and Hunters...is that heaven, or what?!)

Cheers,

Dick

I think Jim Fox mentioned that he had one and was trying to decide to offer it as a kit.

Default Buccaneer

Hey-

A Buccaneer would be a great change of pace model to see. I like those something different models that appear in the different magazines.
