Sean ... what programs do you need in the chain to the router? Assume it starts with Intellicad and ends with Mach 3 but is there anything in between? Thanks.

Default RE: CNC Programs

For me, it's either: Solidworks, Bobcad, Mach 3

Or Bobcad, Mach 3

Solidworks and Bobcad can be found in various Newsgroups, Mach 3 was around $100.00.

Full versions of Solidworks is around $5k and Bobcad is around 1,500, newsgroups run around 12.00 a month, usenetserver.com is one, an indexer like newzbin.com can be used to find various "stuff".

Typically you need a downloading program like "grabit" which can be googled. And then you would need "quickpar" and "winrar" to repair and unzip news group information (again googled).

For more info, PM me your phone number and we can talk to your hearts content bud.
