Default Pro-Link main struts

Has anybody use the pro-link struts on the Bandit Arf.
If so how much do you have to cut away to get them
to fit.Can you still put the cover plate on?
Or do you have to close the openings up ,so the
wings don't blow apart? Doe's anyone have any
pictures they can show.
Thanks for any Info. you can give.

Our Pro-Link Bandit struts are for the most part, Drop-in. Some minor dremeling of the wheel pocket may be necessary to make a bit more clearance for the wheel in the pocket but material removal is very minimal. Factory covers remain in place. Strut covers can still be used by making a thin strap to secure the door to the strut.
Pro-Link Bandit struts are available thru Dreamworks or BVM.

Here is my set up. Like Todd mentioned it may take some minor dremeling of the wheel pocket - you will need to dremeled about an 1/8" around the wheel pocket and retract cover - fits fine.

Michael, I fixed that statement for you.

Hi all,

Have you guys tried these struts flying off of grass? I am curious because I fly from a grass runway and am interested in a Bandit ARF in the near future.
Thanks

Dean

Man, I need some of these for Hotspot, but I don't see any long enough from axle to trunion. Todd, is there any hope of seeing some longer??

Hi Roger,
We are working on several sets although Hotspot is not one of them, Just not enough volume in this airframe any more to justify. I'll look at what we have lined up and see if any have the length appropriate for the HS.
