Default ultimate idea 2,4 test on a jet?..need your help

a nice test i would like to see for 2,4 is :

to plug the 2,4 fasst receiver in a system that records its performance and all parameter like weatroic sortware

and then place it on a jet and take it for many wild rides!

...BUT

the 2,4 receiver will have nothing to do with the jets fanction!it will be just a batery for the receiver, the receiver it self and the data record system!

for control i would use my curent receiver radio set up on my jet. so plane just will carry the 2,4 receiver and have nothing to do with t!

i could carry it for months and try deferent mounting places in the fuse with out using it for control
and after each flite we can all have a performance report!

so i wont risk the plane!and let you know the resolts after each flite!

now where i need your help....since you maybe are more informed than me..anyone have any idea if there is such a recording system out there i could use?

can you direct me to any links?...what you think

thankx in advance friends[8D]

You could set up a failsafe position on one of the channels and record it with the Eagle Tree system (http://www.eagletreesystems.com/). However, from the fairly extensive testing that a lot of folks on here have been doing of the FASST system, its not really necessary...

hey Bod!

ill go and check out the link!

i dont want to recall how many bad reports rcu "rules" block out and we never find out!

i just say...better safe than sorry fried![8D] i dont want my plane to be the first with a felure!

so my jet fly and will continew to fly..it dosent mind for 8 months or a year to carry this one on!...i think this would be a good way for the 2,4 to earn my trast!

if eagletree is a good recorder ill give it a go!

thanx again!anyone else know any other system?

Why?

I have already put the 2.4 FASST system in my Hotspot. It worked fine. Flew large circuits, loops etc. No problems. Range test was fabulous.....

Use it like you would any PCM rx and it will be fine.
