Too bad it now has to live in museums. What a piece of work. The most amazing thing to me is that it grew up to 6 inches in length and 3 inches in width at temp and still ran. (behave yourself Presta)

Two days ago I was down to Hill Field at the museum looking at the SR-71 and the engine was on display right next to it. It must have been incredible to witness this thing fly and to hear the engines roar.
