Default 12X?

Any news as to when it will be available for purchase in the states?

Not sure ... but I flew one of the prototypes this past weekend (albeit on a giant scale aerobatic plane). Sweet Tx ... can't wait for it to be available. I *think* the target timing is late spring, but could be wrong.

It'll be worth the wait ...

Your JR dealer is expecting to take delivery of the first 12X radios soon, so keep in touch. You’ve waited a long time for this radio, so please be patient just a little longer. You’ll be glad you were.

Late spring is what they told me on the phone a couple of weeks ago.

Bevar,

I spoke with Jeff Hollsinger ( I think that's how you spell his name ) and he told me that he will have the TX at Florida Jets to show and demo it there.

Good Luck!!

The 12X is available in Asia now, it has a posted price of 112,000 yen. it is available in non 2.4 now. I have also found it for sale in the UK for 900 pounds.

I have also seen it posted for around 900.00 us for TX and RX

Touched, fondled, and drooled over it at the AMA trade show last weekend (2.4 version). Feels/looks a lot like the 10X with some neat new features, switch layouts are similar as well so it won't take much getting used to.

Get on the list now as it looks like mid/late March for first deliveries.

At this point in time:

900.00 GBP = 1,762.41 USD

and

112,000.00 JPY = 1,049.42 USD

That, and given that the 10X is still just about a grand with RX, I doubt that the 12X will only be $900.00 here in the states. My guess in the pool would be $1500 to $1700...

I would think that JR will have to keep it around the $1200 mark (Tx and Rx) to compete against the Futaba 12FG...What do you guys think?

I don't know, look at the 9303 ($529.00) vs. the 9C ($350.00). JR TX's and RX's are generally more expensive than Futaba's - and yet, JR servos (for the same torque/speed ratings) are generally cheaper than Futaba...
