Mark,
I wish my bank account was screaming Wren 44. As long as the K&B .48 stays in one piece, I think this plane will remain ICDF. BTW, it went out for a few sorties this past summer and will be out again this year.

Question about the wing fence, is this an absolute, i see f86's from several manufacturers and some have em and some don't , will this bird slow down enough to need them ?

Hi,
I've built two of these over the years. You could say I cut my builder's teeth on it. The thing about that little plane is that you could build it as simply as you wanted to, or you could hang a bunch of scale ecoutrements on it and it would still fly beautifully. Dorian Anderson built and flew some beautiful ones. They offer an ARF now, but building one yourself from a kit is fun and character-building!

After all the swiss cheese cuts on the wing , she's waiting for her underware to dry..lol
I haven't decided on what dress to put on her, Skyblazers or Minute men.

Made a intake to go all the way to the fan Including a aux-intake on the underside .
carbonfiber strips to stiffen up the to help from collasping along with gluing it to fan formers when complete.
Material used is a clear plastic call A-Pet/R-Pet at i believe 17.5 gage. i know its not needed
but I have a phobia about servos or anything flying into the fan.

Hello everyone.
I translated my F86 from K & B to JJ-1200.
You will have photos or details on how to install the elevator and timon of servos? Have left them in their original place?
Please, tell me about.
Thank you, BR

RE: JHH F86
Thought I'd experiment with some (at least new to me) adheisive.
Wood+Fiberglass = very good results. Strong enough for formers and dries clear,
I wouldnt use it on fan mounts or motor mounts, I have not tested this to be fule proof
so I couldnt tell ya. really great for glueing canopies into canopy frames sence it dries clear.
after dried its has a rubbery surface feel so i didnt trust it and tried to take a former out but it was so strong i did NOT succeed, very tough stuff.

RE: JHH F86
I'll probley Opted out of a lot of the scale features and stick with sport scale and sport gear and just
have fun and fly the CRAP outts this thing.havent made up my mind yet.
Scale=more building time [:'(]
sport scale = in the air faster
I'll have this bird at Cinn Jets along with the Old Yeller F16
Been to Jet rallies before just as a spectator and all my old fellow clubmembers(friends) dont fly anymore so i'll need a wingman while I fly.
