Is the same kit with our EDF conversion. We built our kit different. We made our own nose gear fire wall to fit our gear. There is a lot wood come with the kit we find not neccessary to glue in. The key is built light.

Thanks a lot for this thread.[:@]
You made me haul my Stingray kit out of its corner where it had been sleeping peacefully, and I have started building on it again.

Rookie is little challenge. It neeed inlet ducting and is not go to be easy.
Kangaroo is just drop in the plug-n-play Nacelle unit.
When time permitted. We do the few larger Nacelle for bigger fan.

Any plans to try Vectored Thrusting with the EDF's?

I think something like a Kangaroo with vectoring would be Wicked!

Stingray do look better in EDF than turbine from my opinion. What you guys thinks?
The total weight with batteries only 10.75 lbs. Which are 5 lbs lighter than turbine with fuel.
I flew the turbine version few years back with Ram 500 it was doing easy over 200mph . I can't wait to fly the Stingray with E-power and lighter. I think she will get close to 200mph on E-power.
Tam, what were your C.G. and throws with expo?
