Default engine fan question

ok guys, i have a k/b 7.5 and a turbax 1 fan. is it possible to mount a larger engine on this fan? fan is new. but dont have the mounting brakets. it is drilled and tapped for the k/b 7.5. the k/b is the front carb version with the perry carb and pump. this will be in my yellow a4 and want ot go with a bigger engine. what can i do? please tell me. i am trying to sell the setup to get something else but no responces. thanks guys. doug

Default engine fan question

Call and talk to Larry Wolfe at jethangar.com. The old front carb K&B 7.5 ran, but poorly and was superceded by rear-rotor rear carb DF engines. The Turbax can be upgraded with a new center body from JHH to accomodate a difficult to find K&B 9101 or .48, an OS DF engine, or larger Rossi 65. But I would take Larry's advice and recommendation for the best powerplant for the yellow A4. You don't want to skimp on power and lose that plane on the 1st flight
