Its still on his home page. As a matter of fact JJH flew one here in Phoenix last weekend at the Mesa elec fly. I was not there but i hear it flew great and Larry is having changes made for the production run. I am told there will be a small turbine version and EDF, it has nice size and will be reasonable in price.

Hi Guys,

Yeah, it's still on our website. It's only on the front page at the moment. Once it gets closer to official release, I'll integrate it into the rest of the site. That being said, the airplane is getting close. We built the first proto and noted a few things we wanted to see changed. We received just recently the updated version so will be going through it to make sure it's all in there. So, it's in the process of getting assembled for the next round of testing. Realistically, we're still a few months out before it'll be available.

The airplane is a really great flier and is a really nice size. My dad had the first proto at the recent AZ electric festival and at BITW.

Chris will the EDF fan unit that's on sale for $825 fit the ASM panter? I ask because that's a nice discount. Another question can that plane/edf fan combo be flown from grass?

Yes on all counts. The 12s setup will give the best overall performance and best thrust for grass ops, but the 10s setup should still fly the airplane well. Just not quite as fast on the top end.

OK lost my FEJ turbine F16 at Temora. One Elevator went to full lock. Total loss. Amazingly got the turbine repaired to new. Slight consolation. New project ASM Panther turbine. Have started the build. Pics to follow. I have already started the mods to deal with fuzz issues. I am thinking if mods are right this will be a winner!!

Stay tuned.

Maiden ASM Panther on the weekend. Went great. Had 4 flame outs due to my Hanson super trap cloth filter. Removed this and then no problems. Lucky to get it back each time. Flies great. Very happy with it!

No one in the us is handling this, I e-mailed for a shipping price and it was around $800.00 to US. I would love to have one but shipping is way to much.

Bart,

Going to the Bowylie scale rally Gundaroo. Only 2.5 hour drive for me. Wang sounds like it will be huge also. Make sure you post plenty of pics!

Have a good one!

Dino my mate did a complete vid of the flight. He then showed someone the close call. Took another vid and taped over that bit bugger. He has the first 3 mins however. Any chance get a copy of your vid? Your Hellcat was great. I just love the Mustangs, spittys and Zeros! Truly was warbird heaven. Shame about the Sunday!
