whatdo you think the flash would fly like on 14 lbs of thrust, take off and land then on bigger 22 lbs? How slow do you think it will go and still be very safe, the airplane stay stable? Thanks
Not enough thrust for a Flash. Mine had a Falcon and they were a great match (See JetPower Issue 2 2007). I had a friend that flew one on a P120 and it worked well too.

If you are looking for unusual favorites, one of mine is the JMP Firebird. Great performance, wonderful presence in the air, easy to set up at the field.

I am just looking for somthing fun, I am looking at the roockie 2 now, thinking about trying the biaxial thrust vectering, If I am smart enough to set it up any ways. I am just inm a bad spot, I want an L-39 as well, but they don't seem to be aerobatic, like the scale of it though. I just can't make my decision. I am basically the way I look at it the same $ for everything in the size im looking at, give or take few $100. I have this thread up like I said to see what people have, find vids on what you mention and see what it costs. Just still having hard time finding a good airplane that is 14lbs-22lbs thrust class, can take a kinda bumpy grass runway, will fly very slow and still be predictable, go fast and be fun to fly, no worry jet, my favorite jet is F-16 from skymaster, can be fun to fly, kinda slow, but not good on grass on hard landing and gear doors. So I will just take my time on this decision. I made a bad one a few months ago and regreted it. Thanks for your imput. Keep it coming though

Try a Euro sport from Com Arf. I have a wide assortment of jets and the Euro is my favorite by far. It is reasonable cost it has plenty of power with a titan and can do just about any manuver you want to do and lands so slow and smooth. Don't buy the standard landing gear though buy the robarts from dream works they work great. My 2 cents.

I watched a vid on the euro sport, looked like it flew ok, will it take tight turns, the canardes stay on it. What would you say the slowest it can go on landing and still be very safe, stable? Is that with flaps? Does it fly better then the rookie as far as aerobatics and landing withough the vectored thrust, any one know? thanks

Hi Guys

Not a kit (yet) but currently under construction from scratch (this is the plug) is my favourite jet General Dynamics F111. Still in use by the Australian airforce and still recognised as one of the best fighter bombers ever made. It is a 1/8 scale complete with swing wings it will be glass fuse and curently foam wings and tail, it will be powered by 2 of Simjet 3000 engines so over 60lb of thrust. See attached pics also a pic of a single engine version at 1/10 scale with swing wings almost ready to fly

Regards

Answer to your questions The Euro is 3d you can turn on a dime you can hover the thing and you can slow down on your landing down to about 25 mph it is sweet. However my favorite jet is my metalmorph F-86

I still like the thrust vectoring fo the rookie, but I have heard that it can be tricky when tryig slow landing in bumpy wind. I don't know, one of my frineds has one but he never flies it, he flys his angle more then anything, has like 7 jets, never seen any but angel fly. hmm, anyway thanks for the imput.
