Default Skymaster F-5 struts

Can anyone on RCU get me a set of Skymaster F-5 struts?? Particularly a dealer?

I have tried Jason Sommes and their crew, but that has not worked out. Then I tried Wagner, who never called me back (I wanted jetlegend F-20 struts from him). Then I tried Camlex who said they don't get parts as easy as others.

Adil? Can he get me some F-5 struts?

Anyone else?

I need a set of either F-20 struts, or F-5 struts. New or Used.

Thanks,

Sean

seanreit, THIS IS NOT A BASH, I hope you find what you need that will be a very cool jet. This is why people neeed to let BV alone and understand how BVM support works, you have a kit cool jet you have to go through this to finish it come on skymaster support, and so called reps help this man out!

rcpete, just to let you know, sean's jet is not a kit, it is home built.

Sean, did you try Mickey?

Have not tried Mickey, do you think he could get me a set? RC Pete, you are totally out of line. I do not own any skymaster products. Also, I have owned more BVM models than probably 60 to 70% of turbine flyers out there.

Mike, hold off on the struts from Mickey till after Florida Jets. Jason Sommes says he is bringing me some to Florida.

I'll call you on the road from Austin through LA Tuesday night. Don't know if the hours are gonna work out right, do the best I can though!

Later,

Could you please explain this further. Who are you? A hobby shop? Dealer?? Are you talking to Jason Sommes?

Sean, just curious, if you have my SM F-5 strut/wheel/brake set in hand (sent last week), why do you need another set?

If you are not going to need mine, I'd appreciate getting them back on your return from FJ.

Thanks -

Barry

I can see why you are confused! I sent you a PM regarding your struts, I have them yes! When I looked at them I decided it would be difficult at best to duplicate, so I continued on my quest to own a set. At some point Jason Sommes indicated he would have a set for me to buy at Florida.

I of course will send them back to you the day or two after my return, if you are in need right away I will make effort to get them back to you tomorrow.

All the best and sorry for the confusion,

Sean

Thanks Sean for the clarification. I did see your PM, but then saw this thread after and was confused as to why you wanted another set.

I can wait until it is convenient for you to send back on your return. FWIW, I am going to sell my almost complete F-5 here on RCU (unpainted but hinged and servos installed) and wanted to include the struts in my ad.

Have fun (and stay dry) in FL!

Barry
