Has anyone added a light system to an arf? Can it be done without damaging paint? How about getting them all the way out to the wingtips? Thinking of adding lights to my new F-16 when i get it. The lights would be wing tips, both sides of the intake and the top of the tail. Thanks for your help

Rich -
I have added lights to my F-16 1/6 - no problems with the sides of the intakes and the top of the tail. I have not added wingtip light.
I made a long drill bit from carbon tubing and a drill bit, then drilled through the tail and routed the wire through. On the intakes,
you just cut off the colored part of the orignal (glassfibre) light and put the light unit in there, then glue the clear glass over it.

I added wingtip position lights and strobes to a Eurosport after maiden flights.I used a piece of tig welding rod to pull wires through the wing.I was able to cut holes without messing up paint, wintip lights overlap edge of hole.
