Default Titanium Trailing Link Struts

Titanium trailing link struts shown with Jet 1a anodized and regular aluminum for reference.

They will be flown at FJ on the Megabar.

Sorry the earlier thread got deleted.

These are really awesome and I look forward to flying them!

The mods want me to remind everyone that the earlier thread did not get "deleted" it got "lost" due to RCU not having measures in place for hackers, or whatever the heck happened that blew the site up temporarily.

Some of the above statement is my own views and not those necessarily of RCU moderators owners of RCU, readers of RCU and anyone else connected to RCU, but some of it is.

Thanks! I wish I could call it work, but to be perfectly honest, it was a lot of fun!

The material was not exactly cheap, but overall, the cost to make them is only marginally higher than buying them aluminum from existing sources. I wanted to make and have something unique, and it should last forever.

Sean nice. I would like to give it a try. What mill and lathe do you have. Is titanium hard to lathe since its such a spingy metal? Thanks Bill Squillace

Hope you got to see me, I must have answered 50 questions or more about this gear down there. Held up perfectly all weekend. Not a lot of flying going on down there due to weather, but I did have a flamout and pounded these struts pretty good, nothing moved!

Hello Sean,
I wish I would have known where you were setup I would of liked to meet with you and to see your struts at Fl jets, I was busy running around taking photos and watching my buddys booth (Camlex).
