Default 10X programming

Would anyone have a good way of accomplishing the following.

I would like to use tailerons but be able to "switch" to ailerons / elevator (flying stab) while flying.

Can this be accomplished in flight modes?

i use a 10x heli version and with it, it was very easy to do on my old F-16 but I'm not sure if the same type of mixing and flight modes are available on the aero version.

It's easy to set up tailerons or aileron/elevator but to be able to have both and switch between the two setups while flying... that's my question.

i realized that was your question and with the heli version it's easy to do via the flight modes, with the aero version it should also be an option, but i can't say for sure. i had mine for flight mode normal was ail/ele, stunt 1 was tailerons and stunt 2 was both.

I did it on my old cap232. But i have 10sx. I had to do 2-3 mixes. Elev has a servo each side in sep channel. Mix both elev channels to ail in 2 separate mixes, you can change the directions in the mix, use the flip sw upper right to activate.
That's the rough and dirty version, I hope that helps.

I re-read your question- do you want to disable ailerons when you switch to tailerons? That would be much different. I'm clueless. Should be do-able, I'll have to monkey around with the tx to figure that one out. I like a challenge.
