jclittle I just built one and it will weigh about 23.5 dry.

Mine is set at the factory recommended CG and has been fine for over 150flights. Without the wing tanks and a lighter motor you can get in around 25lbs. Mine is 27.5lbs dry and flys terrific at that weight.

Vincent, how does your model handle low speed with such a weight? How did you compansate the P120 weight ?

The model handles fine at slow speeds with full flaps for landings, nothing extra needs to be done with the jet with a 120 in there.

Thanks a lot Vincent. Did you instal an additional fuel tank or is it possible to fly a bit other 9 minutes with the tanks from the kit?

Anyone that can measure the weigjt of the original tailpipe?

Mine is quite heavy and will do some weight saving during this winter...

You have to have the big F-86, this thread is for the 1/6.5 scale F-86
