Yeah I'm in Broken Arrow. I don't have one ordered but I am planning on the Cammo version F-15. I want to wait unitl they have them in stock before I order. I'm gunshy I guess because I have seen many guys get burnt with pre-orders. TBM however is a great company and I support them 100%. I trust Bill. I'll keep saving my pennies in the meantime. I have enough for the airframe and about half the turbine right now.

Guess I'll wait for the next shippment. Maby taxes will be good to me this year,,,,NOT! LOL

I still have a 35% Dalton Extra 260 that I need to cover and get airborne so I'm not in a rush on the jet. I do hope you will take the time and provide us with a great build thread. I'd love to drive over and check yours out when it gets delivered if your cool with that???

I hope yours shipps soon,

Jason

Hi Jason, glad to see another Okie jet flyer!!!!! no problem on coming over and checking out the kit. I'll post here when it arrives, and we can trade information via PM.. I got an email from them today saying it should ship tomorrow. So hopefully I'll have my new bird in a couple of weeks.

The F-15 arrived today!!! I am very pleased so far, and impressed on how fast the plane got to me. They didn't ship it till the 27th which was about 12days behind schedule.. However they made up for it, the plane was in oklahoma city on the 29th (yes thats 2 days from china)!! and delivered to me today!!! Anyway only had time to take it out of the box and from what I can see everything looks fantastic!!! The packaging was great and the plane did not suffer any damage. The fitment of the parts seems to be perfect as well. I'll post pics here, or may start my own build thread over the next couple of days.

757 Driver

Do you still have the "field of dreams" jet field east of Broken Arrow? I haven't seen any events scheduled there for years.

Mugen Kidd...man thats great news. I can't wait to see it on your build thread!

Rocket....YES were still East of BA in the same place. This year we are making an effort to bring our American Turf Flyers field too the next level. In short were doing lots of landscaping to improve the feel.

The good news!!! We are hosting a memorial day flyin this year and Jets are encouraged to attend. We already have several jets in the line up and are planning a great event. Hope you will attend. All airplane size and types are welcome and lunch is included. Fly-in cost is only $5 bucks and thats to cover lunch and lavs. Have stuff for sale....bring that too!

Hope to see you both,

Jason

Jason what days are you having this fly-in on? Memorial day is on Monday the 26th, will this be an all week-end deal or just one day?? Only issue for me is that our full size airshow is that same weekend!

Here's a couple of quick pics.. I must say that after further looking through the plane I am very impressed!!! I have never seen glue joints on an ARF like this!!! Everything is very complete.. gear doors and landing gear work flawlessly... The fueltanks are nicely plumbed and sealed, just very impressed at this point. Will probally start by putting servos in the wings and verticals, then go to the vertical and horizontal stabs. Can't wait..... power will be a Simjet 3000, 30lbs of thrust!!!
