Default Just a caution

HI all, just a heads up, how many guys check their fuel system for quantity and fuel rate flow on a new installation. Well I could not figure out why one tank filled and the other was slow, so I removed every thing( I hate going backwards) and checked the tanks twice, all was OK, which left the alumium fittings, which revealed a small disc.

Whoop, whoop, whoop, another BV error [X(]

J/k. Man it is always a good idea to share reminders of things to check. Last count there was 400 things that had to be right in a successful flight. Down at Florida Jets I was zooming around base to final at full speed and had a flameout half into the flight. Landed and went to figure out what was wrong and there was some type of debris stuck in my fuel T. On an airplane with 40 flights or so on it. Don't know where it came from but it was a soggy mess, maybe some extra glass that was not properly wetted w/ resin in a homemade tank? Either way, fuel systems will get you every time if they are not exceedingly excellent.

Thanks for the note.

Always make sure all fittings are tight and correct. Had a deadstick on my Pulse XT 40 right after take off because my vent came off. I know its a glow plane, but checking all fittings are a must.
Sorry, I just wanted to add something.

Good find! Its always nice when you have a problem, and find something that could definitely be causing it. [8D]
