LOL - how much do you think it would cost for a few thousand miles of 6mm PolyU tube, so that we can make our own transcontinental fuel pipeline and pump that stuff over here ?

Well lets see. Mcmaster sells it at 1.43 per foot. It's about 2250 miles from Cali to Florida give or take a couple hundred feet. There are 5280 feet in a mile so Im figuring that it would cost you a cool $16,988,400. in tubing. If you're down, I'll go in half on it with ya..........Oh wait we're gonna need a pretty good pump with all that line drag......Forget it, I don't need another pump

Gents,
I stocked up on jet fuel just before moving here about seven years ago. I then got out of the hobby (got busy with other things). I'm getting back into it this year and my fly my Bandit.
My concern is that I have 12 gallons of Jet A but the stuff is seven years old. It's been in blue plastic kero containers ever since. Would you fly with it? If not, any ideas on how to get rid of it?

If you know anyone with a diesel truck, pour it in the tank and it will burn nice. Also a heating oil furnace would burn it up too. If you want to just get rid of it safely then i would suggest going to a service station and pouring it into their waste oil tank.

with having that much fuel to give away, you could have made a big hit at any jet rally by suppling free fuel for the flyers....
