Default JetCat P-80 Start Problem

I tried to start my P-80 turbine today and ran into a problem. It tried to start and did not then the blinking red light came on which means the glow plug is bad. I have the kero start and this was its first start. I forgot to turn the fuel value on so fuel could not get to the turbine. Is there a way to test this or reset it so that it will try again or do I just buy another one?

This turbine is in a Facet and the turbine is mounted in the mid section of the fuse. The glow plug is on top so if is near the heat shield. To get to the glow plug I will have to pull the turbine. Can I also flip it around so the glow plug is on the bottom? That way I could get to it with out having to remove the turbine.

Thanks for any help.

Scott

sorry just read your first post again..............check your cable set, if the RPM sensor cable (the phone cable) is pulled tight it can sit crooked in the socket and cause the blinking red.

do NOT turn the keroburners
ideal position is 12 o clock
max positons for a good start are 40 degrees before or 40 degrees after this point

Scott's turbine was used (not really used but not brand new one) and had an early (non V3) ignitor on it.

He has a V3 ignitor coming to him under warranty.

Regards,
