Wow,

that was a really cool video. Just a few things guys, we think the plane needs a smaller prop and it needs just a tad of weight in the nose to be perfect. Then and only then will you see Ron Monster Long fly the plane Also I would like to add that MASTER SERGENT WAYNE LANE did a excellent job building and flying the Comp Arf Tucano Turbo Prop.

Do you think he ran out of gas after he landed. Ron had best order a set of brakes as a spare, or just put a tail hook on the bird .

Joe,

We performed some decelleration adjustments to the ECU I think the motor will be fine now. Allways some minor adjustments. Tail hook on order

Will there be Smoke???? Have you considered what type of residue one might get with the smoke system along the fuselage if any? Hate to see that paint job look like one of mine. Inquiring minds want to know ?

Hi Joe, yes there's going to be smoke but I don't think it will leave a lot of residue if the flow rate is adjusted correctly.

Vin,

I know you are so intersted in this whole smoke thing so it looks like we will have it ready for the weekend.

No problem Joe,

Friday:

Time/ Temperature / Dew Point (°F):

2 AM / 88 / 40

5 AM / 83 / 40

8 AM / 94 / 40

11 AM / 104 / 40

2 PM / 110 / 38

5 PM / 112 / 38

It will be in the '80s between 2 AM and 6 am! Why do you think that Wayne put lights on the Tucano?

Tailwinds,

John

Is that Dan yes-I'll-have-the-cheesecake-Jacobsen????

Ron, that is a very cool model, even if it does have a prop on it. Wayne said that you laid down a really nice landing....Happy 4th!

John

It was a very nice landing, perfect rotation at touch down. It touched down at a snails pace. The plane is way underpowered on take off in this 100 degree weather. Even with the 2 blade prop. I do think Ron flew it very well in this heat.

John, it was Fabulous Dan, aka Fab Dan, aka F Dan with the camera. Anything but magic hands.

Nice flight Ron, the Tuc will hopefully be a better performer when the motor can be set to its max rpm. Great job Wayne...
