???????????????
What's the F42 formers and tray for?
Does the shroud ring in the latest kits that surrounds the exhaust and front pipe area seem a bit tight in diameter?
Seems like it might choke the bypass air and limit the venturi affect.
I haven't decided if I'll use it or make a aluminum one like Joeflyer did.
If it proves to be adequate, I will put aluminum tape on the interior surface of the ring.

I know that this has been discussed earlier but I was too lazy to go over all the pages in the old topic..

What kind of oil have you used on those leaking landing gear cylinders to get them working again?

Kallem,
I received my 16 two weeks ago and have'nt check the retracts / rams for pressure, but
I heard the latest batch of 16s had this problem rectified. Sure hope so.

Was yours one of the first batch of planes shipped?

Silicone grease or Super 0-Lube should hopefully help resolve that problem.

Thanks Keith. My plane was one of the first batch shipped in December. I have to get some lube and see if the leaking can be fixed. I already got one cylinder from FEJ before they came up with this lube thing. If the lube does not help I have to see if I find new same size seal ring.

Also I have to thank them for correcting these issues they had on the first kits. I was asking for those formers on the nose which they added later and sent an email to them. Next day they replied that they will send me those parts via regular mail. Lucky to have business with them, fellow jet flyer here in Finland ordered a plane from Anton Lin, did not get the plane he wanted. After getting something else than he wanted he got wrong wings in the shipment. Still waiting answer from Anton after few months...

Kalle
