I'm looking for a f-18 Hornet kit. One exactly like this one in the video.

Hey,

That's my Tamjet Superhornet from Freso Jets last year. I have been flying that bird for a year now and just love it! You can watch another flight of that 18 on Tam's website. tamjets.com go to the superhornet page

Hey Russ
I have got the same set up as you, with the Super Hornet and the Titan SE. It hasn't had it's maiden yet. It will be later this spring. Going with a Jetcat smoke system, has a EQ10 by Smart Fly. I got some help from Harley about intial set up. Any suggestions. He said as far as take off about 1/2 elevator, until the nose lifts and then ease of a bit on elevator until it comes off itself. Do you notice it to be quit fast in the air compared to a Kingcat or Eurosport. Do you carry quit a bit of throttle to the final flare, on landing.
Yours looks pretty scale in the air and on the ground. I have the same paint job as well, but I cheated and it has a number 1 on it.
I appreciate your comments.
Thanks
Alan

Alan,

I just put in a Titan SX in it which gives it a little more grunt for take-offs. Take off is just like you said and is very stable and easy to fly. I fly with 50-75% power with 100% on the up-lines. It will go 199.99 mph very easily so easy on the throttle with the low passes. Will take as much abuse as you can throw at it and does like to land with power if you want to slow down your landing speed. I've landed with as much as 50% power such as the video on Tam's website. Don't get behind the power on landing, it will not tip with the flaps down but will drop if not on the kero.

Good luck on yours!

Russ
