The Mig 15 CG is measured from the rear of the wing root forward. It is measured dry with wheels down. the forward most measurement is specified at 7.75 inches the aft measurement is 7.25 inches. Hope this helps.

On the BVM website in the MiG addendums, it is sugessted that you use the aft CG for better landings, and 35 degrees of flap, instead of the earlier setting of 45 degrees.

I found the best flying and landing CG location to be at the removable fuselage bulkhead ... showing slightly nose down while suspending it from that bulkhead. Being nose heavy on takeoff, for about the first 4 minutes had no downside, other than requiring a little more ground speed before rotation.
