The Oil Creek Flyer's (AMA Chartered Club 4799) will be host the second annual OC-Turbo Fest on June 20 through 22nd.

The Titusville Airport will be closed from 10 AM to 6PM daily

RC Vendors welcome, no charge for set-up

Concessions will be available on Saturday

Jet A available all three days anytime.

Overnight camping, with shower facility,

Saturday night Camp Fire

Hanger storage for the models with electric service

Here is a photo taken yesterday by (Flyaway), you can see the runway behind me, this place is huge!

p.s. with the price of AV Gas this place is like a deserted island, there was only one full scale take off and landing all yesterday afternoon, perfect for model flying

will do, been pretty busy with work lately, back to flying soon. 51 is ready, been work'n on the 47, almost have it ready to fly, hookin up the bombs/tanks right now, have ta stash the batteries & receiver - fine tune the retracts - balance it - it'll be ready to strafe the jet pit! A4 is next on the bench, plannin on bring that down to OCmeet.

The Caboose Motel is unique as the rooms are actually old railroad caboose’s that have been refurbished.

Camping is encouraged; there is a brand new shower in the airport administration building along with toilet facilities. There is a central camp fire pit for sitting around and shooting the B.S.

Jet A is available at the pump all day, everyday, last known price was $5.26 / Gal (subject to change)[X(]

Huge hanger storage with power for overnight storage and charging... what else can I say...this facility is awesome.

So far the Response has been great. The place is one of the better spots in the country for a Jet Event. If you used to attend the Canadian event in Ontario, this is a good alternative. Feel free to Post that you are comming or would even like to come. We are set up to accomodate a ton of participants. Ducted fans and electrics are welcome. The flight line boss will be instructed not to have small powered electics flying in the same airspace as the tubines. Yes, all are welcome, but we will use are heads to make sure that we do it safely. A turbine waiver is required for turbine fliers only. We will not shut down the runway for a "Noon time show". We do however, ask for an afternoon timeout for planes to be brought out on the runway for Pics and spectator interactions.
After event hours, there is an RC field for grass field flying, AMA will be required. Lots of room for camping and flight line tents. Vendors can set up as big a tents as they want at no charge. The area also has lots of tourism for wives that may not wnat to spend two days or more at the field.... ( go figure)
If you need a waiver flight, we are there to accomodate, please call beforehand so we can prep you for it. If you have any other types of non-turbine aircraft that need a large paved surface to fly or plenty of open space, please feel free to call me for arrangements. An area for Scale Heli's can also be available. THIS IS A BIG FIELD! Call Me!
NEWS.. NEWS ... Bob Wilcox at JET CAT USA has agreed to be a Sponcer. Thanks BOB! We will be welcoming other sponcers for Pilot gifts and donations to the event.

A question came up last year about landing full scale for visitors to the show...

The answer is we would like all full scale on the ground prior to 10:00AM; however we realize that this may not be possible for everyone so if you want to come please let us know and we will make arrangements, you just have to ask for permission when you about ten miles out.
Airport freq is 122.900 MHz state that you are coming to watch the show and that you will be staying on the ground after arrival
