DFW Jet Rodeo, June 13th – 15th

We are just 1week away from the DFW JET RODEO. Event information is available at: www.ndrcc.com. 650 foot asphalt runway.

- We have provided an RV turn around area to enable RV’s to back into one of the six (6) gravel pads. Electrical hookups for $10 per night. ONLY RV’s will be permitted in the gravel parking lot behind the main field structure.

-Pilots can park their trailers and cars behind their pits to the south of the taxiway.

-Two free pilot lunches (tickets in Pilot Pack)

-Saturday evening dinner will be held at the Trail Dust Restaurant.

We have 650 feet of pure, smooth asphalt. The pictures below are: (1)the 12:00 noon line up, (2) the flight boxes, (3) the RV parking area, and (4) the shed area where the spectators look on, the food is served, and TX impound is housed.

Hey Ronnie,

Things are shaping up. I'm stocking up on food and drinks for the event. We are getting the windy conditions out of the way this week. Should be another good event, already have pre-registered pilots.

Hey Luis,

Thursday will be fine. We are actually setting up the barriers and roping off the pit area on Wednesday. We will have folks there on Thursday to let people in. Come on an burn some fuel.

Hey Goose, Love to have you drop by. You won't be alone, this place fills up with spectators. Saturday is the best day for watching. Thursday, Friday, and Sunday's are pretty laid back. Get yourself a map from the website and make the trip up to the field.

Hey Buck,

Lowes sells the 5 gallon cans of 1-K and we have a Lowes within 4-5 miles of the field. Heck, If I was you, I would just drain some out of the F-18!

Buck,
Northwest propane is about 20 minutes from the field. They sell kero from the pump. Last time I was there it was just under $4 a gallon.

I'll be there on Friday, let me know if you want me to pick some up for you on the way up.

not because of the little girl, too much time on the "bus" ... 10 hours flying to ny and back in a yesterday is a beating. and the current downturn in airtravel isnt making anyone more helpful or friendly in the field either...

yup, I experienced a little of the airport woes in phoenix a couple of weeks ago trying to get back to FW.
