Default Tamjets TJ100 power BVM Electra, F-86 ,Tamjets A-4 and Yellow Aircraft F-16 Video

Here is what our TJ100 fan system can do in BVM Electra and F-86.
The performance is good as turbine but no hassle with the turbine waiver or summer fire restriction.
The best about it. The power plant and batteries cost less than $1500. But the performance no other fan on the market can match in cost, power and effeciency.
Here is three video link.

Tam,

I was really impressed with its performance this weekend at the Jet Rally in the Valley. The paint job is also outstanding. That F-86 is a real gem. Red Bull is becoming ever so popular for RC Jets lately.

Hi Tam,

That's awesome, was that an Electra ARF or kit?

Also, how much will one of those 11s flight packs retail for?

Thanks,

Arden,
Yes. This your old F-86. Hieu put in the beauty finish job. I haven't doppler how fast it goes. But it was very effeciency, a lot of power for verticle climp and low amps draw. I'm thinking looking for another 1/2 finish old F-86 to do it again with new silver/blue Red Bull.

Matt,
The Electra are ARF's kit.
The TJ100 plug/play fan system and 11-12s 5350mAh I can retail it for less than $1500.

Dave,
Who care.

Thanks Tam,

An ARF at 13.3 pounds?!? Wow.

I was asking what just the battery costs, as a spare or 2 for flying.

Thanks

Matt,
The 11s 5350mAh is $475 a set from us. We had special price on this cells to help push the EDF market.
Lipos is expensive and buying few set could hurt your wallet. I do what I can to offer reasonable price. Good thing this fan is not power sucker. It doesn't need to run 30C cells. Those cells are way to much just to own one pack. You can buy two set of this set up just for one 30c cells pack.

Arnaud,
The new inlet ducting for my F-16 is on the way. As soon I got it done. I'll let you know.

very nice , Tam. It is amazing how far EDF has come in the last few years. I may have to get something ELSE from you. I REALLY like the F-16, 12th scale with your TJ100.

keep the new and exciting things coming!! thanks for keeping things interesting!

Mickey,
Yes EDF is taking a big role play in the next few year. I had great help from two friends made this happen.
First I had to give the credit to Bob Park. Hope everyone still remember him.
He work with me on this fan for quite a while now. His tip showing me how to do the rotor airfoil and I stay with 4 blade rotor to made it easy to do tooling. Bob design the stators center body according to the rotor and rpm of the rotor can spin at for maximum performance in low and high velocity.
Good to have rocket science as your friend. His help cut my R&D cost way down and I had the perfect fan for Nuemotor.
Another person is not any rocket science but knowing how to made effeciency ducting.
Thist person is also local friend. Barry had donate his spare time making tooling for all the ducting for any model I can get my hand on.
Three of us had the passion for this hobby and push it to the next level. Of course me is 90% business to put food on the table. Other 10% of my passion.
If you ready for 1:12 scale F-16 with this fan. Let me know.
If you ever fly my little F-16 with this fan. Just made sure not to blink. It will disappear in second.
Even Ray can't even follow with his camera.

Tam,

I have one of your first F16 turbine designed jet kits with the Monokote wings. If I were to make this an E-jet, what fan, intake, exhaust tube items would readily work with little effort?

I want the hottest setup.....................

Soon I will had the inlet ducting made for my old Tamjets/Cermark F-16.
For this plane I recomending TJ100 plug/play with 1515 2Y motor on 12s 4450mAh.
This will kept the plane light and still had tons of power.
The F-86 are flying on the same power set up and you see how it perform.

Good deal, I'll get it together for SEFF 2009, They may need an alternate EDF vendor presence if your so inclined, keep us updated,

I can guarantee to have the litest build possible. (30 years R/c modeling) I built my Viperjet MKII to 23lbs dry, with a Pegasus HP. Flies excellant many hours flight time and trophies to go along with it, including an Iron man being in the air constantly.

David,
That just mid power set up there you see. I got another set up even more power.
If you just like doing few high speed pass and most of the flight at 120-140mph.
You can get easy 5.5 to 6 min on that set up.

You can buy two TJ100 power plant just for one turbine. With the fuel cost this day. E-power jet is cheaper and still get the excitement of speed, reliability and best of all is clean.

But you had carry little kero with you. Just put few drop on your cloth before come home. So the wife know you when flying.

Tam,
I am interested in purchasing the 12 scale F-16 with your TJ100 and batteries. If it is soooooo fast, can I use less cells like 10 and still go mach 2?

would you please get me a price for the F-16 with all items needed. You may email me at [link]http://[email protected][/link] Do I need to get June to call you for better price?

I remember Bob, ........one of the true geniuses in this hobby!

Mickey,
Sure have June call me later.
You don't need to run on 10s.
I can set up 8s at 2.6 kw for our 1:12 F-16. You still had enough speed for fun and not worry about it disappear.
This small plane doing close to 200mph is way too much for anyone.
I had hard time kept track of it.

Tam,

If I do this I need to be certain nothing is faster period. not worried about speed and sight problems, I fly 140MPH on a 22" foamie, and a KingCat on a AMT 400.
12s would be my prefferance as I have many 6s packs of 30/40C in 5000-4000 range.

The old F-16 is not the fast plane. You might hit 160 plus with 12s system.
Electra can easy do 200 with 12 system.
