Default Dreamworks New Items

Here are some of the latest items we have available.....

Pro-Link:

Tandem Nose Strut:

Our new Tanden Nose strut and nose strut adapter are now in stock. Available as a complete unit or adapter to convert our standard large nose strut to tandem. Designed for 2 1/4" nose wheels.

Firewall Mount Adapter:

Convert our Pro-Link Standard Series retracts to Firewall mount with our simple adapter plate. Installs in minutes! We offer the adapter separately or pre-installed on our Pro-Link Nose gear unit.

Flash Struts and Gear Package:

Our new Composite-ARF Flash Strut and Gear combo packages will be available shortly, they are currently undergoing thorough field testing to assure no issues arise. These truts will fit stock Behotec gear and our Pro-Link retracts (or any retract with 1/2" trunion) and like our Elan package, offer zero axle offset.

CNC Machined Fuel and Smoke Fill Caps:

Our Aluminum CNC machined fill caps for both Fuel and Smoke make tank filling a breeze, not to mention the "Cool" factor. These light weight fill caps incorporate a snatch latch closure system and seal off the fill tube when closed. Simple to install and quite functional.

Air Gauge Fill Plates:

Our Air Gauge / Fill Valve mounting plates are available in single or dual assemblies. These lightweight machined Carbon Fiber mounts are pre-assembled and ready for install. Includes one Pisco air gauge and one AirPower fill valve. Makes for a nice and tidy install.

Airline Labels:

These slip on labels make identifying individual airlines a cinch. No more guessing which line operates which function! Each pack comes with 10 labels, 5 of each. We offer these in the most common line usage:

* Gear Up - Gear Down
* Door 1 Up - Down
* Door 2 Up - Down
* Door 3 Up - Down
* Brakes - Air Brake

Jet-Tronic Low Loss Valve:

Revolutionary new brake valve from Jet-Tronics, that allows you to apply your brakes in a near fully proportional manner without the high volume air loss often experienced by other makes of electronic valves.

Airpower Electronic Sequencer with Program Card:

This new " Gear Door Sequencer " offers the following fucntions:

* Innovative and convenient Manual mode allowing sequencing activation by button on valve, no TX necessary.
* Easily programmable with included function card.
* Mode indicator lamp provides instant confirmation of current operation mode.
* Switching point adjustable, by which multiple uses on one channel are possible.

VERY NICE stuff, Todd

You wouldn't consider doing a nose strut for a 3" wheel, would you?

I'm Guessing somewhere in Japan at the moment [] Cant get ANY info from my JR rep as to the reason for the delay, only will state "sometime by the end of the month" [X(]
Typical of JR... Delays, Delays, Delays.... What's the rush Baldy, you waited this long, a few weeks wont kill ya! Besides.... It wont make you fly any better

Is there really much demand for 3" nose? I can do them, sure... But how many want one?

I'm not sure about how many. I was just asking. Actually, from the photo, it looks like the current version could be modified if need be. I was thinking of maybe using them as a "sport gear on a certain airplane...................

The thought being that I could go with a more detailed nose strut and scale mains or use your strut and the wire gear like I have now on the mains....................Again, nice work.

John

John,
So you need a Tandem nose strut to work with 3" nose wheels?

Yes, the nose wheels are 3". I'm OK for now. I'm just checking the options that will be available.

Hi Todd,

How short can that nose strut be made?

I am working on a Reaction 54 and the struts on it are crazy short.

Thanks,

Actually, let me check, I think Barry has the right idea, this gear is just too short.

I will have to do some surgery to the wells, then I would change all of the struts to a new length. Let me get back to you

No Problem Matt.... Typically, I can modify the struts in-house for some custom sizing if necessary, within the limits of the gear.

Let me know what you come up with, I'll have something that will work.

Hey Todd,

How about a Pro-link nose strut for the BVM airplanes such as the bandit and bobcat, etc. I have your Pro-link mains installed on my Bandit and they work flawless. However, with the flex plate design i am having trouble finding something that will work with the nose gear. I'm afraid the carbon fiber flex plates will break from flying off of grass. Either a pro-link strut or some 7075 Aluminum flex plates would be a good seller! I have a machinist buddy that made me some aluminum flex plates but were not 7075. They looked nice but bent up like a pretzel after one day of flying from the grass with NO hard landings! Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Sean

Hey John,
Yes, sure do... They seal completely air tight and are compatible with Gas, Glow, Smoke oil or Jet-A/Kero. Each one is seal tested to 20psi
