Comp ARF Eurosport Intakes or not?
Who uses the intakes with the Eurosport?
Why do they have it as an option and not included with the kit?

RE: Comp ARF Eurosport Intakes or not?
I put the intakes in mine to hide the wiring and plumbing and keep them from flapping in the breeze. An added bonus is that it looks cool. If you ever want to service the tanks, you must make the intakes removeable . . . takes a little doing but well worth the effort.

I flew mine for a while without intakes but installed them later. Sure cleans things up inside. I installed mine with RTV (silicone glue) so that I could cut them out if I ever needed to. After a couple of years, I still have not had to remove them.

Along with the intake you can add the bifurcated Tams pipe and s/s exhaust nozzles, they look sweet.

That is FO' SURE!![sm=thumbup.gif]
Everyone of my Euros has had the intakes, I wouldn't do one w/o them. It just cleans everything up so nicely.

RE: Comp ARF Eurosport Intakes or not?
I bought the intakes also, I think they add to the scale greatly. I've read on here a few times that the intakes need to be removable for servicing the fuel tanks. Sounds like a good idea, I'm interested to hear how you guys have done it? Where did you cut them? How have you secured them? etc
I have the tams pipe and nozzles too. Expensive, but the only way to go if you want a scale model!
Thanks for any help.

I fitted Intairco intakes, a bifurcated pipe and Tam's s/s exhaust nozzles. If you want scale, it's a good combo.
The Intairco intakes already come in two parts which slide into each other. The forward part of the intake which is approx. 175mm (7 inches) in length and is attached to the inside walls of the fuselage intake. The back part is much longer and simply slides over the forward intake and is also supported by the fuselage former just forward of the turbine. I also chose to fit the C-ARF bypass. It all fits very well making a tidy installation.
Intakes also help keep the airflow entering the turbine cleaner.
